CAMERA CRITTERS

ONE OF NATURE'S MIRACLES

While on a walk during the week i happen to see this lovely pair of woodpeckers busy in finding the insects in the dry grass. With these sharp shooter beaks, there is no chance of losing any prey.

Welcome friends!

The hoopoe is actually a distant relative of the kingfisher family and has no woodpecker relation at all. They are fascinating birds aren't they?! This is a super-clear shot Uppal-ji!!! YAM xx

  4. Nice catch. Small Correction though, these are Hoopoe, not wood peckers.:-)
